Smiley Mountain Band 2000-2002 The band recorded Professional Demo album with one of Jean’s original songs “Tears Melt Down The Castle Walls”.
Jean Butterfield Band 2009 Performed at several Songwriter Showcase Evenings in San Luis Obispo County. Now the music evenings are called “Songwriters at Play”.
Jean Butterfield 2010 Nominated for Female Vocalist for the 2010 Northern California Bluegrass Awards. She has written many songs lately under a new genre. This includes songs of Angels and Romance. Jean has entered into some solo performances lately because her love of singing. She is a guest on a friend’s new CD (Glenn Franklin - Alinda) singing his original heartfelt songs – soon to be released. And last but not least she has been invited to be part of the sound track singing her original song “Brothers in Time” for the documentary film “Pathway to Mammoth” produced by Ron Davies. sierrafocus@sti.net
